Feds no longer prosecuting medical marijuana

Great news! The Justice Department handed down a memo today instructing its attorneys that pot-smoking patients or their sanctioned suppliers should NOT be targeted for federal prosecution in states that allow medical marijuana (link). California, of course, is one of those states.
Since we started operating in 2001 (actually, going back even further than that), HPRC has seen a lot changes to state and federal attitudes, but this has to be one of the most positive developments ever.
With this news, patients can have complete security and peace of mind when obtaining their medication.

09/12/09: Power outage, phones down

That big thunderstorm that roared through the Bay Area this morning reached out and smacked the transformer PG&E uses to deliver delicious electricity to our office. This means the phones are downl. Everything should be back to normal on Sunday when we open at 11am, please call back at that time.

Labor Day Hours & Bridge Closure

Due to the Bay Bridge closure this weekend and the traffic it will generate, we cannot guarantee that orders placed after 3pm every day starting Friday 9/4/09, Saturday 9/5 and Sunday 9/6 will receive same-day delivery. If you want to ensure you receive your order the same day, place it as early as possible (we open at 11).
On Monday 9/7 our office hours are 11:00am to 3:00pm.

ProTip: Early call means early service!

While we’re open from 11:00am to 5:00pm every day of the week to take your calls, it’s important to remember that deliveries will often happen in the order those calls were received. The earlier you call, the earlier we’ll be able to get to your location. Since our stock changes on a daily basis, calling earlier may mean we have a wider selection of medicine for you to select from.

Heads up! Friday/Saturday Phone Fun
